On our second day in Singapore, we were set to go to the famous Merlion and Gardens by the Bay. From Aljunied Station, we went to the Raffles Place station (East West line)as drop off point. We walked towards One Fullerton mall, which was just adjacent to Merlion Park.
Merlion Park
When we arrived, there were already too many tourists doing their own best poses with Merlion. Some depicting themselves drinking water or taking shower from the Merlion.
It was hot so we were not able to stay that long. We found this place under the bridge to escape the heat. The air was so cool here. We also found a big Starbucks where we stayed to refresh ourselves.
We should be walking to our next destination but the weather was extremely hot. We opted to take MRT from Raffles Station going to Bayfront Station.
From the station, we crossed the street where the shuttle going around to Gardens By The Bay was located. It costed us 3 SGD for unlimited ride.
Flower Dome Conservatory
Flower dome is known to be the world's largest glass greenhouse. It's a home to 150 species of plants from around the world. The dome is divided to different sections e.g. Mediterranean garden, Australian garden.
When we visited the Flower Dome, it was Tulip Festival. They showcased the different tulips. You can check the upcoming activities on its website.
Cloud Forest Conservatory
Cloud Forest is where you can find the tallest indoor waterfall. It has man-made mountain where you can climb via cloud walk.
The majestic waterfall gave us a cool mist from splash of water. It was refreshing. The Cloud Walk was a good walk but scary sometimes. It gave us an overview of the whole forest.
We called it a day after as we're off to Universal Studio on the next day.

We enjoyed our stay here, and both conservatories were air conditioned. We got our discounted tickets in Klook to enjoy the two domes.
There was MCDonald's near where we had our lunch. It was also besides the Supertree Groove.
Bugis Street
After spending time at the Gardens by The Bay, we went to Bugis Street to buy some souvenirs and chocolate to bring back home. We found the items here very cheap. This was just 3 stations away from Aljunied Station, which made it very comfortable for us. To go here, ride mrt going to Bugis Station (East west line)
