Manila To Baguio Daily Trips: Victory Liner, Genesis, JoyBus, and Pangasinan Solid North

Now the entire country is at Alert Level 1, domestic tourism is now fully open.  One of these tourist destinations is Baguio City.  Recently, the Baguio City government released that there will be no limit to the number of tourists that can enter the city.  Registration is still required at Baguio Visita.

Having said that, what are now the available public buses that can bring you and your family to the Summer Capital of the Philippines.  Here are the buses:

1. Victory Liner

Victory Liner offers First Class and Regular Aircon. You can book at the Victory Liner Website and check the site if there is any change in schedule.  1st Class has a CR inside.

Schedule from the site

Genesis and JoyBus offer daily trips to Baguio and are located in 1 bus station as both are under Genesis Transport Company.  Joybus offers Premium while Genesis offers De Luxe trip.  Both have CR inside.  You can book your reservation at the iWantSeats website and check available schedules.

Pangasinan Solid North (PSN) also offers daily trips to Baguio City.  Unlike Victory Liner and Genesis which is located at Cubao, Pangasinan Solid North is located at PITX.  This is an ideal option for those coming from the south who want to enjoy the cold breeze of the summer capital.  Their buses also have CR inside.  You can reserve the ticket at Biyaheroes.  That's the official accredited booking site of PSN.

Out of 3, I was able to try Pangasinan Solid North and JoyBus.  JoyBus has a lazy boy chair and free crackers and water.  I tried that one 4 years ago.  While the PSN has USB charging which I tried 2 years ago.  I am not sure if they have updated their interior. My family will try again the JoyBus and Pangasinan Solid North this incoming summer.  I will update this blog to show you the latest look of both buses.

Please always check the bus company for the updated fare.
