Taiwan Extends Visa-Free for Filipinos Till July 31, 2021

Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs has recently announced that it will be extending the visa-free entry for Filipinos until July 31, 2021.  Since 2019, there is an increase of 100.37 percent Filipinos visiting Taiwan under this policy.
Aside from the Philippines, Russia, Brunie, and Thailand are extended as well to further promote Taiwan.   

However, there is still a travel restriction due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  If you wish to enter Taiwan for purposes other than tourism, you may request a special entry permit.  

You are required to present a negative  Covid-19  test result that taken within 3 days prior to the date of your arrival.  14-day home quarantine is also mandatory.

  1. Thank you for the information. This is good news! We planned to visit Taiwan this year but due to covid-19 we had to cancel our plans. Thankfully Taiwan extended the visa-free travel for Filipinos! Hooray!

  2. Hayyy, we were supposed to travel outside the country with the kids for the first time this year, but that will have to wait. This is great news. I hope we can bring them to Taiwan by then.

  3. I'm happy that they extended it. Tourism industry is impacted hard and needs to recover fast. I wish to visit Taiwan in the future.
