As covid is still a threat to everyone, the Korean Embassy in the Philippines announced that the Korean Government is requiring all foreign nationals, including transfer passengers, arriving in South Korea to present a negative Covid-19 PCR test result starting July 20, 2020.  The test result must be issued within 48 hours before the passenger flight.  If you are arriving in South Korea in July 2020, the result should be dated July 18, 19, or 20.  However, the Korean Embassy in the Philippines listed hospitals in Metro Manila and Cebu where you should get a Covid-19 test.   Below are the designated hospitals.   Any result not coming from mentioned hospitals will not be considered.

You have to present the test result upon check-in and at the quarantine authority upon arrival in South Korea.  You still need to undergo 14 -day quarantine in your place and must inform the authority.

Currently, the embassy stops accepting new applications except for visas for diplomatic, official, seamen, spouse, and child of Korean national. Link
