Last Saturday, I was invited to try the recently opened restaurant in Tomas Morato, Yakikai Restaurant. The name are derived from two Japanese words. Yaki means grilled while Kai means buffet. The Yakikai will offer you unlimited buffet with fusion of Japanese and Korean Food, and grill all meat you can.

- 10 kinds of meat + buffet
3. Emperor set p599 (p699 reg. price)
- 11 different kinds of meats

Ambiance:
I love the oriental feels of the place becauase of its interior design. It is very warm, and its warmness is enhanced by very friendly staff. It is very minimal and spacious that gives you feeling of comfort even though your tummy is already full.
Aside from the premium meats which are really good, they also offer different variants of sushi, and Japanese tempura. The Korean spicy beef is the one I really love. It suited well to my Filipino tongue.

1. From Delta. Ride a jeep going to Project 2 and 3 and ask the driver to get you off at Scout Dr. Lazcano Street. Once there cross street and walk about 100 meters.
2. From EDSA Kamuning. Ride the jeep going to Pantranco and ask the driver to get you off at Dr. Lazcano Street. Don't cross but walk 100 meters to reach the resto. Do not ride the jeep going to Taft or Quiapo. They won't pass Tomas Morato.
Fare for both is only 9 pesos.
