Bayview Park Hotel is one of the classic hotels along Roxas Boulevard and Manila Bay. The location is very strategic as it is near to several tourist spots in Manila. That's why I was eager to stay here.
Upon entering the Hotel premises, we were greeted by the guard and other staff. The receptionist was warmly smiling as I walked towards her. She immediately asked me if I have reservation and checked my name on their system. The moment it was confirmed, she asked me to fill up the registration form. I was asked for a deposit of 1000 pesos each room but it would be returned during our check-out. Receptionist handed out electronic key card and breakfast stubs.I was amazed how big it was from the inside, and the hallway was carpeted in red.
The room light was not white fluorescent so the room was not well-lighted but manageable to see everything. I think the room is not design to do some working staff but really to relax and enjoy the coziness.
We toured around the room and common amenities were there, complimentary tea, coffee, and bottle of water. It was also my fist time to see additional 2 extra pillows in a hotel to hug on.
The comfort room was clean enough, and there were a lot of towels. It was also my first time to see a complimentary lotion was included. One thing I noticed was that shower area was quite small, around 30 inches width. I am not sure if this is the same with the other rooms but if they are, these can be a little problem for the people with big body built.
We visited the gym and pool that are located at the deck. The gym has the basic equipment e.g. treadmill, dumbbells. I saw that the it is only open from 7 AM to 7 PM.
The pool is only open from 7 AM to 5 PM only, so we were not able to swim as we went there a bit late. On the next day, we were able to swim . The watcher asked for our room number and gave us free towels. The pool is not that deep. The deepest is only four feet so diving is not really advisable, and you cannot do a lap. The pool is cute. We just chilled on the pool.
The deck will also give a good view of Manila Bay and Manila Port.
We had our breakfast as early as 6 AM. It is from 6 to 10 AM only. We gave our breakfast stub to the attendant, and gave us each a yakult before sending us to our seats. There were tuna flakes, pancake, hash brown, langonisa, scrambled egg, different types of bread and jam, and many more. One thing I really loved was the scrambled egg. It was really tasty and milky. There were fruits and salad as well. I was completely full after that sumptuous breakfast.
Checking out was very easy. We returned the key card to the front desk. After checking the room, she gave me the 2000 pesos deposit. Also, If you need grab car, they will also happy to book you one.

Overall, I had a very satisfying stay at this hotel. Staff was accommodating all through out our stay. If they can extend the pool time as some just want to have a night swimming, and sweat out at night.
