Singapore Episode 1B: Oriental Home and Space-Like Tour in Singapore

After getting our tourist pass for 3 days,  we rode the East West Line from Changi Airport to Aljunied Station which was 7 stations away from the airport. This was the location of the hotel I booked in Agoda.   I booked the Lai Ming Hotel Cosmoland which was just 1 block away from station, and along Geyland Road.
The hotel looked old from outside but it was the room that really surprised me.  I said to myself "Oh it's real"
The room was too spacious with 2 single beds, and a sofa, which I thought can accommodate one more person.  There was a desk partnered with office chair. Sit like a boss!.
It was a plain bed but soft.  I loved how they set up our beds to make them more elegant looking. A 32-inch flat screen was also available with English channel.
We had a big comfort room and bath tub, with cold and hot water.
We had free water everyday.  Breakfast was not included which was also OK because we were not really a morning person.  We stayed for 3 nights and costed us around PHP 6400 only.

After settling in,  we continued our tour  and our only agenda on that day was going to Marina Bay Sands Sky Park.  From Aljunied Station we went straight to  City Hall Station, and walked towards Marina Square Shopping Mall which was just 3 blocks away.  We had to redeem our skypark ticket we bought from Klook.  The stall was located at  City Tourist Hub stall # #01-221.  The voucher we got came also wtih 1 Day Hopper Pass which we're not able to use because it was already around 5 pm when we came to the redemption area.

The moment we saw the Singapore Flyer, we walked towards it.  I knew that Marina Bay Sands was just near to it.
Then we saw the Helix Bridge, which was inspired by DNA.  I remembered my biology subject.  I felt that we were in outer space because of the structures.  The Skypark was like a spaceship docked to 3 pillars.
We crossed the bridge during sunset around 6:30 pm.  It was magnificent site cause you could clearly see the sun saying goodbye. That gave red to orange color of the sky.  The sunset was late because Singapore has longer day than Philippines.
We were glad that we came late because it was not hot, and the Singapore skyline became colorful at night.

Helix Bridge and Singapore Skyflyer
Supertrees
Flower Dome and Cloud Forest
The two domes looked like Space hubs with community inside.  Like the one I saw in sci-fi movies.  I was really amazed how Singapore did these.  It was really futuristic.
