Flags

We crossed Shognshou Road to Taipei City Hall Public Square. On my previous post, I already mentioned that the park is one of the best spots to have selfie with Taipei 101
From the park, we crossed Ren'ai Road to National Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall.  The hall was built in 1972 as a tribute to Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the founder of the Republic of China.
The place greeted us with beautiful garden. Our eyes were blessed with different hues of the flowers.
We walked towards the hall to witness the change of guards. Change of guards is a ceremony being performed hourly to replace the 2 guards with new ones.

The ceremony took almost 10 minutes.  It was so well-coordinated movement from the guards.  It was a march but elegantly executed.
We went to the museum after the ceremony, and read about his accomplishments.
