8 Stunning Photos of Sumilon Island

Sumilon Island is 24 hectares  island in the southern part of Oslab municipality.  It is 125 km away from Cebu City, and travel time is around 3 to 4 hours.  It will give you a scenic costal view along the way.

How to go here:
1.  Take a taxi going to South Bus Terminal
2.  Ride a Ceres Bus going to Bato Oslob, fee is around 155 pesos.
3.  Ask the conductor to drop you off at Brgy. Tan-awan in Oslob for Sumilon Isalnd/Whale Shark Watching
4.  From there, the island is just 15 to 20 minutes away. 
5.  Charter a boat and it will cost you around 1500 pesos depending on the size.  There is an entrance fee of 50 pesos per person.

Most of the tourists, visited the island after whale shark watching.
