I always travel with my DSLR when I go to places I've never been to. Though DSLR is bulky I have to bring it to capture great photos of people, scenery, and structures. Alpha 5000 is a mirror-less camera. It has flat and compact body. It only weighs 269 grams with battery. It is definitely easy to carry. It has 20.4 megapixels larger than my entry level DSLR.
One thing that is good about this is it has 3-inch LCD that you can tilt to 180 degrees to do your selfie. We Filipinos definitely love selfies. You will have a nice resolution for your portrait. This is a must have for a solo traveler as well.
